The girls were excited for the chance to have some Easter fun this year. We haven't really explained the whole Easter Bunny thing very well (which is a big plus for the pocket book, but a little bit of a downer when you try to get them excited for eggs and baskets). However, when boxes came from Grandparents, they understand that there is candy associated with this Easter thing. So after eating way too much sugar, they were excited for the Easter traditions.
We started with designing some wonderful eggs. Hadley couldn't wait to get her hands in the cups full of dye. They each got to make 5 eggs in any color they wanted.Rach helped Allie and I got to hang with my tiny buddy Hadley (she really enjoyed putting the stickers on, I think we put the entire sheet of stickers on one egg [but it looked very pretty!]).

After a Friday night of decorating eggs, we kept the fun rolling with a Saturday morning Easter egg hunt. The girls were really excited to go look for eggs.

On Sunday morning the Easter Bunny left a little surprise for the girls.
They had to follow his trail through the house to find the goodies at the end.
In the end, it was worth it for the candy, toys, and fun.
