Fire Station Field Trip

Allie had her first field trip of the year at the Greenfield fire station and she was SO excited to go.  We met at the park behind the fire station for some lunch and play.  After, we had the firemen take us on a tour of the station and their truck.

Luckily, Hadley was able to tag along with the rest of the big kids.
Allie took it upon her to take care of Hadley.  Makes me smile.

This fireman let each of the kids hold the hose and turn on and off the water (with slow flow).

Maybe we have a fireman in our future.

Allie's whole class - she loves Shining Star Preschool!

Snuggle Time!

Everyone wants to snuggle when Miles is around.  Here are some random pictures of my cute family snuggling with little buddy.

Laundry Helper

Folding Laundry is a lot more fun with this cute boy!  Although instead of folding I was taking pictures.  Whoops!

Miles - 5 Months

Miles is getting his first tooth, and he wants everyone to know about it by yelling.  He doesn't really cry, he yells.  He is by far my worst teether, waking up every couple of hours at night.  Good thing he is cute!  He weighed in at 19 lbs 6 oz, which means he is slowing down a bit in his growth, thank goodness!
He has rolled over once, but mostly prefers to just chill out on his back instead.  It is probably hard to roll over 20 lbs of goodness!   He is chewing everything within arm's reach.  He is quick to give a smile and is much more active in playing with toys and trying to get things.

The girls still adore him, clobbering him whenever they get the chance.

This is the typical Miles pose -  thumb in mouth and playing with his toes.   I had to add this last picture because it shows his awesome rolls.  Yum!

We love our chubs and can't believe it has been 5 months since he joined our family.

Here he comes to save the day

Miles didn't get to eat any of the yummy Valentine's treats around the house this week,
so instead we got him this awesome new suit.

Ready to take on the world.

Excited to have his very own cape.

(There were some ladies in the store when we picked this up, and they both looked at us and said "too bad he won't fit in that for Halloween." What a silly comment, this is his new suit for church!)

Trying out his flight skills as the newest super hero on the block.

Love, love me do

We had a lovely Valentine's Day this year. The girls all got loaded up on sugar and treats from a dance and preschool party.  The girls delivered and received some Valentine's from their friends and family - and got a package from grandpa and grandma Meldrum.   For actual V-day, we went to the Children's Museum of Phoenix and played our hearts out all day long.  At the end of the day Mike brought us some pretty flowers. Rach and each of the girls got their very own bunch on spring blooms, and we put them all together in one vase. We also enjoyed a new family tradition of ice cream cake for dessert from grandma and grandpa shaw. It was a great day.

The girls were all smiles the whole day (especially when they got flowers and ice cream!)

Happy Birthday Dad!

Mike turned 32 this year and we were so glad we got to celebrate with him.  The girls were so excited   all week, getting his present ready and on the big day the girls made signs to put up in the garage for when he got home from work.  As soon as Mike pulled in to the garage, Hadley opened up the door and excitedly told him, " we have sparkle candles!"  We celebrated with some peanut butter chocolate pie from village inn, his favorite and for dinner his choice was tomato soup and grilled cheese.

Mike must be getting old, because it sure looks like it was really hard to blow out his set of "3" and "2" candles for  for his 32nd birthday.  We didn't want the whole pie covered in wax!

Might I also add how handsome he looks in this picture.  We love you babe!
