Puzzle Time

This kiddo LOVES her new puzzles that she got from her cousin for Christmas.  She will sit and do the repeatedly for a hour all by herself.  She has mastered each puzzle and knows where each piece goes without the rest of the puzzle even done.  

This is my point of view of Hadley lately, hanging on standing up with my leg.  She wants to be a part of the party too!

Madison's Birthday Party

Madison, Allie's best friend, turned 3 on the 13th and we celebrated with her cowgirl style!  We had a lot of fun at the park building stick horses and playing games.  We don't know what we would do without Madison!

Tubby Time

These little girls love bath time!  As soon as I start the water, Hadley speed-crawls over to the tub and stands on the side waiting for me to put her in.  I, on the other hand, hate cleaning my tub.  Both love and hate are evident in these pictures.  Hey, at least I clean the girls!

Family Adventures

Today was a holiday for me at work, so we decided to get the family out for a great fun adventure.

Since we still have not seen all the tourist spots in Houston we picked one out for a family get away.

Allie started the day super excited! She even was happy in the car (at least on the way there).

Hadley was excited to get out of the car instead!

We enjoyed the rainforest area. There were lots of wonderful plants and animals to see. There were lots of these cool pink birds.

We showed up just in time for the butterfly release, and Allie got to be the special helper.

She was a little leery at first. So I had to help out a lot.

But then she got more comfortable and wanted to hold all the butterflies!

There were a lot of colorful butterflies.

Rach and Hadley enjoying the nice warm weather inside the rainforest. They actually keep it hot and humid like a real rainforest.

Allie wasn't very brave for the birds walking around. She got really scared and tried to climb up my lap when they started walking by (look real close and they are by the fence on the right).

After the rainforest we saw the aquarium. This shark is so fast! (You can tell since it is blurry :) )

Last but not least, we watched the 3D movies. That was Allie's favorite part of the day.

It was a great family adventure. Hopefully you all could enjoy the day with us.

Happy Birthday to Me!

For my birthday this year, Mike came home with some fancy cupcakes from Crave which we all enjoyed and then we put the girls to be, and left Ryan Tingey at our house while we went and saw a movie - Mission Impossible 27, or something like that.  It is always fun to get away and have a night out. Thanks babe!

Valentines Love

Because we knew we were going to be gone for Valentines Day, we decided to decorate early so we could enjoy the month of love. Allie and I made light catcher hearts from waxed paper and crayon shaving.  Allie's favorite part was standing on the table to put the up on the window, something that is not allowed any other time.

Christmas Activities - Utah Style

What would Christmas in Utah be without a visit to Temple Square?  We went after Christmas it was perfect because it was not too crowded and it was decently warm or I should say not too cold.  Grandma also got the girls some cute hats to use while in Utah, and they actually kept them on pretty well.

We were able to go see the animals at the Bean Museum, but it looks like they were all there to see someone else. :)

 Look who we found at the museum!   We ran into Madison just in time for the reptile show.  Allie needed some good Madison time, we are used to seeing each other multiple times a day.

 On the way home from the museum we stopped by the Provo Beach resort to use our coupon for a free ride on the carousel.  Hi Dad! 

 Since we were going home on new years eve, Grandpa pulled out the fireworks early so Allie could enjoy them, which she did.  She is related to me, of course.
