T-minus 3 months and counting
We have the graduation bug in our home already, and now Allie has joined the ranks. Mike got a t-shirt from a conference that has this saying on the front, but it was an xl. So, I decided to copy their idea and make a little shirt for Allie to show her pride for her almost-pharmacist dad. I think it turned out pretty cute!
Good Bye, my Silpat
Meet my Silpats. I have had the one on the right since high school and it has been well loved as you can see. I have made countless cookies and such on her; she went through all of my college years and more. Sadly, the hole she had in her was getting too large, so for my birthday this year I got a new one! If you have not had a chance to use Silpat, I would HIIGHLY recommend one! You don't ever have to use cooking spray and cookies never burn.

Christmas Eve 2009
Christmas Eve is very special in the Shaw home, full of traditions that might be a bit quirky, but are Christmas to us. We listen to Alabama Christmas, eat homemade enchiladas, get jammies and listen to Pixie in the Chimney. We love it!
The first part of this video is of Allie in her Christmas Eve outfit, and of her walking and signing at GG Naylor's house.

Sledding Time
Mike wanted to take Allie sledding the whole time we were in Utah and we ended up with perfect sledding weather the day before we left. We went with my Mom and Kevin and Ty. Everyone had such a fun time and there were no tears! Allie loved sledding, and I think we have another family member who will LOVE roller coasters!
