Allie is 1!!!!

This year has gone by so quickly; it seems like yesterday she was just born. We have quickly gone from this picture, to this!

(although this is my usual view of her, running away!)

These are a few of our favorite things we love about Allie:

-loves to play chase around the couch

-loves to be scared

-loves to empty out baskets, dryers, laundry baskets

-loves to read books, even if she moans the whole time (video to come soon)

-still doesn’t like her carseat

-loves her blankie GG shaw made for her

-loves to eat peas, fishes, and anything we are eating,

-would live outside if we let her

-gets really excited and inhales really loud and long

-is content to play by herself unless I am in the kitchen and then insists on being picked up so she can see what I am doing.

-loves to open caps/ lids with her teeth

-always wants to see everything and will pull up on tables/counters to peek over the edge

-likes to brush her teeth (chew on the toothbrush and suck on the toothpaste)

-still sometimes eats paper

-loves stuffed animals and gives them hugs whenever she sees one

-doesn’t like to be behind a closed door – wants her options open

-doesn’t need much sleep and likes to wake up early

-always, without fail, takes her shoes off while in her car seat, and if it if a long ride the socks come off as well

-can sign for bird, water/drink, all done, lights, and says mom and dad, this and kitty and dog

-loves soft blankies

-hates getting her diaper changed

-likes to make cool noises by pounding on things

We just love our Allie. She is such a happy, smart, friendly baby and we could not even imagine life without her. Happy Birthday Allie, we love you!
