Well, I have finally caught up on my blogging! Yea! Nothing like 3 posts in one day.
Last week was our Ward's Melodrama, Buttons & Bows! We have worked on this for about 3 months and have had good and bad times in practices, but it went off without a glitch. I was a co-director and spent a long time trying to convince the Young Men that singing and dancing are cool things to do (not an easy feat in our Basketball-centered ward). After the performance, the youth wanted to start another one right away, even after all the complaining about the practices and such throughout the whole time leading up... but we leaders needed a break!

This is all the kids right before the play with the leads, Miss Millie and Harold
This is of the girls in a scene reminicent of 7 brides for 7 brothers, longing for their cow-poke.
The Boys also had a scene where their girls were stolen and they could not find the lost gold mine. Up to the night of, they did not have the song memorized so we typed up the words and put them in their handkerchiefs. They were supposed to sing with some crying mixed in, but I think in ended up the other way around with more crying/laughing than singing. Still quite hilarious.
This is Jessica, our piano player for the night and Lauren, who is one of my girls about to go out to BYU for the fall. Thinking of lining her up with Tanner, to show her the town. She said that she will only date Premees, but we'll see about that!
