This weekend was the Mesa SPARK festival. This seems to be a great opportunity to put all the weird artistic people on display for the public (kind of like going to a people zoo). Everyone had a great time with crafts, games, and many different things to see.
Hadley made a little dragonfly from pipe cleaners (not pictured yet, this is the pre shot).
Allie and Hadley both got a chance to color part of the giant wall mural. They even managed to stay in the lines (mostly at least).
There was a crazy bicycle carousel type thing that the girls had to experience. The bikes had horses on them kind of like a real carousel, but it was driven by people power!
I mentioned ALL the girls had to experience it, right?
Good thing since they needed lots of peddle power!
We all made music on some very strange drums.
We got to play with the insect people (see how all the crazies were on display).
The girls really liked the butterfly girl.
The bumble bee was very friendly.
Miles got to come along too, and he had a great time being outside.
With all that to see and do, the highlight of the day for the girls was still the stream that runs through the park! They kept asking to get in the water and at the end we finally let them.
Fun was had by all!
