In between snow activities and food preparation, we had lots of fun together! For family home evening, Grandpa told us the story of how the Shaw family went from 2 people who fell in love to all of us! All the kids were enthralled being able to be a part of his story.
We had some smart moms who brought some toys for the kids to play with in the down time. There were lots of towers build with the legos.
New years eve was spent having a talent show& skit night as well as celebrating a new year (at 8:00 pm)
We made some pretty awesome party hats during the day and sported them that night.
The Meldrum's talen was Allie dancing to you are my sunshine and our skit was telling knock knock jokes.
We also snuck in a family picture as we were leaving.... in the parking lot
