Phoenix Children's Museum

While Grandma and Grandpa Shaw were visiting, we decided to go for a fun family adventure. We made the trek over to Phoenix to see the awesome children's museum. This was right up our girls alley. There was a huge climbing structure for Hadley to run around and climb in, and lots of art projects for Allie to express her creative side.

There was a neat light board where you draw in the sand to see the picture shine through. Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed making pictures with the girls.

Allie and Hadley really liked the painting room. There was a giant rocket that kids could paint however they wanted. I think they just liked the idea of being able to paint anywhere they wanted without being told to keep things contained.

They were filthy when they finished painting. There was paint in hair, on clothes, and all over arms and legs.

There was a cool bicycle car wash there too.
The girls enjoyed riding through the wash a lot.

Hadley was just excited to ride a bike.
She was even able to peddle a few times to get moving (although she was going backwards, but we consider this progress).

I couldn't let the girls have all the fun!

There was a really cool noodle forest. There were about a thousand pool noodles hanging from the ceiling and you could run through them. This was a lot of fun, although it was hard to keep up with the girls since they are so short. I had to keep close to see where they were going.

Finally, we ended the day with ice cream!
Hadley served up some delicious treats from the ice cream stand.
