Our little kiddo is now 2! How in the world did this happen? She has recently blossomed into a toddler now and it is so fun to have full conversations with her as well as see her little personality shine through.
Some things about Allie at two
-Allie has such a tender heart. This past Sunday in Nursery a lot of the kids were crying and she would go up to each one and give them a hug and say "you're okay."
-She is a great sharer and will share willingly and without prompting from us.
-She can count to 10 all by herself
-She figured out how to do somersaults all by herself and does them whenever she has the chance
-Everything right now is done "all by self" which is good and bad, but most of the time she does really well.
-She is obsessed with Ariel, which is how we got her potty trained before she turned 2! Yea for Ariel underwear!
-She sings her ABC's (well most of them), Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Happy Birthday & Goodnight Sweetheart (my personal favorite).
-She is still really tall for her age and is in the 93% for her height and 50% for weight.
-Her blankets have to be perfectly straight when she lays them out
-She sleeps with Pooh bear and Tigger and her "soft blankie" every night, but Pooh is definitely the favorite
-Her favorite books are: But no Elephants, Because a little bug went Kachoo, Creature, Red Fish Blue Fish, The Foot Book. She knows most of these books and if you stop at the last word, she will finish it for you.
Madison only ate the cake and Allie ate the frosting. They are perfect friends for each other!
After pizza and cupcakes, we opened presents, which is always fun! Allie wanted to play with everything she got right away, so it took us a while to open her gifts.
After presents, we went to Hermann Park to ride the Choo-Choo train! Allie was so excited and lucky for us it was kind of cold, so the train wasn't busy at all.
The Tingey's gave Allie these rocket balloons that you blow up and then let go and they buzz around and make lots of noise, which Allie loves!
It was a great birthday and one happy girl. We love you Allie!
