3..2..1.. Blastoff!

In January, Lane, Mike's old roommate from college, came down to Houston to interview for a residency.  He was here over a weekend, so we went to NASA Johnson Space Center to go to outer space.  While it is not quite the NASA in Port Canaveral, we did get to see where the astronauts train and some old rockets.  We really enjoyed ourselves there, although I think Allie's favorite thing was the choo-choo train ride around the property.

This is where the astronauts train before they leave on missions

This was the Saturn Rocket which was created but never used.  It is HUGE! It is sad to see so much money and technology go to waste.  There was also a lot of interesting facts and the museum, but an almost-2 year old isn't really into that sort of stuff.  She did really well anyway and we had lots of fun!
