Anyway, to get off my soapbox, we have a SUPER WAL-MART! The city finally let them build on the east side of town which is not known for being the best part of town, but it is still exciting! I was so excited to go, I had Mike take a picture which he thought was so nerdy of me. He has yet to understand blogging life. I saw things in that store that I have not seen since Utah: Rainbow chip icing, frozen hashbrowns/potato products, real chicken patties, and many more things.
(low-quality phone pictures)
We also went on a hike with the YW, even though I got released from my position with them. :( They needed another Priesthood holder and Mike is always the one they go to. It was a 10 mile hike along the Suwannee River. They did really well even though it was quite hot that day. I will miss working in the YW program.

This is what hiking in florida looks like... flat and lots of trees

Picture around the 8th mile... this was about where we got to the song "there was a hole"

The Suwanee river was super low and was a dark red color from the cypress trees that surround the river. The girls kept calling it the river of blood.

Haha, you are so funny about WalMart. But I must say, I was equally excited when I made the 30 minute trek out there! :) I did take a wrong turn and ended up in a pretty scary little neighborhood, but I did finally make it and enjoyed every minute of my visit! I think my bill was like a 1/3 of what I would have spent at Publix!
woohoo! I love these pictures. THanks for the fabulous fhe, you guys rock!
I know the feeling of loving convenience, just be careful what you wish for. Before you know it your town could be one strip mall after another.
Hey Rach, this is Jill. I was doing a little bit of blog-stalking, and found yours! Yeah! You look like you're having a great time! I see your parents every now and then, I live on their same street now, just on the other side of 1600! I'm adding you to my blog if that's ok.
Hooray for Rachel finding me!! I wish I was living in Florida...but, I must say I'm not so excited that you have a Walmart...I personally try to avoid Walmart like the plaque, which is pretty easy because the closest one is at least 60 miles away. But, I won't hold it against you! :)
That Suwanee river is AWESOME!!
