I Married a Nerd!

So, to boast a little, I married a nerd! Mike this weekend was inducted into the Honors program in the School of Pharmacy at UF. He is in the top 20% of his class and is actually more in the to 5%. They had a little program where he had to sign a book and then light a candle and stand with his other classmates. A little cheesy I must admit, but I was a proud wife! Mike does not really get into these types of things, but whatever helps with post-graduation life we will do. Great job babe!

Mike with some of his classmates also in the top 20%

They had everyone sign the book with their backside to the audience, so sorry for a little backside shot.

This weekend we also bought a snorkeling set for our upcoming cruise with the Holmes! Mike originally had it on but refused to take a picture with it on. Therefore, you get me!

No, you married a genius! That is a great achievement and I hope that he gets some sort of recognition in graduation! Where and when is the cruise?

Rachel!! I'm so glad you found us! Tori just recently found our blog, too. Craziness! I'm glad to see you're doing well (your hair looks really cute, by the way). I miss Gainesville! I wish we could go back!

I loved it so much! I can't tell you how much we needed it at that time. You will have a blast, it is so relaxing. I tell everyone to bring an extra duffle bag in your suit case, to bring carry ons for there and check it in on the way back (it ruin your trip if your luggage got lost) and ginger root for sea sickness. The ginger root was only about 5$ and was at walmart. We took 2 a meal untill we were use to the swaying. What activities are you doing? Anything planned? I wish so bad we could go to the Car. What are your ports?

My grandpa always told me to marry a nerd. Congrats to you & Mike!!! That's awesome; however, not a surprise. :)

...AND YAY FOR SNORKELING GEAR!!!! We're SO excited to go cruising with you. It sounds like you guys are more on top of things than us. We'll have to start making some purchases (like a new swimming suit).
