During spring break I took the kids to the Natural History Museum, but forgot the camera.... and Mike. So, we remedied the problem and brought the camera and Mike along with us this time to see all of the dinosaur fossils, dig for some bones and pan for gold.
We also saw a huge scorpion and might have been put in jail for a little while. The first time we went there, Hadley and Allie were in the jail cell and I started closing the door saying they were in jail. Well, Hadley lost it and cried for a long time, thinking she really was in jail. Poor girl.
Miles, as always, was along for the ride - and my arm got a good workout as always.
Outside, they have an area to use some brushes to find some fossils and an area to pan for gold. Much time was spent out here for sure. The museum ended up being more fun than we thought, and with our POGO pass, was not additional cost. Hooray!
