We enjoyed the beautiful weather by playing at the parks and viewing the beautiful scenery. On this Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa took us to a park where we were all by ourselves and enjoyed the slide to our hearts' content.
This was Allie teaching us a family night lesson from her nursery lesson the day before. Kevin's kids all save their papers from Sunday and then recap what they learned at the beginning of their FHE. I love that idea and we have done it ever since. It is amazing what she remembers from the day before.
We also carved pumpkins for FHE. Allie dictated what we did and Hadley had a scary face, Allie a happy face and Mommy did Mickey Mouse.
Allie got to practice Trick or Treating with Grandpa multiple times to make sure she got it right ;)
That night Hadley refused to go to sleep but that was okay because her future BFF cousin Benson came over. Too bad she is already tackling him, but he is quickly gaining on her size, so we'll see who wins next year.
