We started by enjoying a little alone time in a Fort, because forts are totally cool.
Then I make sure she has an understanding of the important things in life.
Like how every child needs a dog!
Next we moved on to an appreciation of other animals and the freedom of expression. She gets to pick what she wears with dad.
I thought these were some very good choices!

She still is her mother's daughter though.

She obviousvly is starting to catch on to this dog thing.
(It makes her daddy proud!)
Finally, it was time to relax and kick back a little.
Overall, we were very busy and got a lot accomplished.
It was quite a wonderful adventure!

Way to go Mike! I loved this post. What fun you and Allie had together - doing all the important things in the life of a 1 year old. Thanks for the WONDERFUL pictures - those two in the costumes were my favorites!!!!
Looks like fun. Daddy time really is different and more fun in many ways. Wish we could see you guys more!

I'm glad you're teaching your little girl the importance of having a dog. I hope Rach is still warming up to the idea of a dog.
Rach - Can my kids play with your dog? I don't think I want one anymore.
