Fire! Fire!

Yesterday we were Skyping with my parents when I saw an email pop up from the big boss saying that there was a huge fire at The Laurels... which is where we live!  We had heard some sirens about a minute or two before that email but thought that it was just someone playing around.  I jumped up and ran outside to see 11 firetrucks, 35 firefighters right outside my building.  I run out and see that the building 3 buildings down is completely on fire with flames and black smoke billowing up into the air.  Ash was falling everywhere and everyone was out trying to figure out what happened.  According to the newspaper today, a lady called the police claiming that there were dead bodies in the dumpster..... hmmm. (This was not her first time calling the police for similar situations)

 Anyway, the police man noticed some smoke coming from this lady's building and ran and got everyone out of that building.  Everyone was safe, but it completely burned the the whole building.  Looks like the fire might be suspicious.  Time to get renters insurance!

While going out this morning to look at the damage, we took some cute picture of Allie!
