Here comes Santa Clause

Since Hazel was born at the beginning of December, we decided to wait a bit to see Santa so she could come too!  We checked out Allie an hour early on early out day to get them all dolled up to see the big guy.  We made a visit earlier in the day to get a card for the 2:00 time slot so we would not have to wait for too long.  The kids even got some new shirts for the occasion!
Everyone told Santa what they wanted: Allie- Baby Alive doll, Hadley- Ariel doll, Miles- Cars, Hazel - sleep!  Ha!

Of course we had to ride the free carousel and see the fish, a yearly tradition as well.

Merry Christmas from our crew!

Here comes Santa Claus

Today was the day. After much planning and preparation we were finally ready. The kids got cleaned up, dressed nicely, prettied up, and tried to be good (for at least a few hours ahead of time) since it was the day to meet the big guy. We pulled Allie out of school a little early so we could make our appointment with Santa!

We enjoyed the fun carousel ride at the store, but that was not the best part of the day.

Everyone got to see Santa! Hazel enjoyed her first visit and slumbered right through. Miles wasn't scared at all, and the girls were happy to see him again. All present requests were placed and a few pictures were snapped. It was fun for all.

We even tried to take a picture in front of the big tree they had there. Most people looking is a win (even if it looks like Allie has antlers).

Merry Christmas!
Make sure you stay on the good list.

Hazel's first Bath

Hazel finally graduated to a real bath, so the crew all collected around her to witness the event.  Allie was the photographer for the occasion until the battery ran out a couple of minutes in.  Whoops.

Year 2 in the books

Soccer season is over. The girls have had mixed emotions about it this year. Hadley was super jealous when Allie had practice, but didn't always want to play her games. Allie was always excited to be part of the team, but didn't always want to play. Either way, it was a fun season.

After Hadley's last game, there was a trophy presentation. The girls all enjoyed their coach and having fun together.

Hadley now has her very own medal! She was very excited about that part.

Allie got much better this year, but she is still a little timid. She was the youngest on her team this time and it made a difference for her. It was a long year for me as well, as I served as the referee for her team.

She had a nice trophy presentation as well after her last game. She loves to get her medals!
