Your dog can do what?

We spent some family time down at Discovery Green Park Saturday. It was a fun filled family adventure. We were able to see some crazy new things at the park, and everyone had a great time.

Allie and Dad playing in the fountains. A great way to cool down from the 100 degree weather.

Allie loved her new hat. She is an Astros fan now!

Hadley preferred to take a nap in the stroller.

The reason we came to the park was to watch the dogs leap great distances into the pool. Allie had a great time with Auntie Melanie.

Look how high that dog is in the air! Amazing. Now if all the rest of the dogs had jumped that well it would have been great. Most of them just fell off the dock, but fun none the less.

Grandma was happy as a clam to sit with Hadley in the breeze.

At the end of the day everyone was happy. Allie had a great day (as evidenced by the awesome new hat, and the lollipop mustache), and mom and dad were still smiling.

Our Daddy-O

These two little girls are so lucky to have Mike as their Daddy-O!  He is such a great father to play with, love, eat ice cream and popcorn with, go on adventures, make pancakes, human trampoline, princess dress put-on-er, gummy bear dispenser, hugger, nuzzler, kisser, and friend.  Thanks Mike for being such a great dad to these two.  We love you!

On a Sunny Afternoon

We are spending a lot of time inside now that it is usually about 100 degrees outside and we have a newborn in the family.  Here is what we were doing one sunny afternoon...
Chillin' in the boppy looking cute and chubby
Playdoh!  This is almost a daily activity and she is great playing by herself with the playdoh while I am nursing Hadley.
The Princesses are also a daily activity, as in all day every day.
I love my two cute girls!

Nothing like a good book

This is how I found Hadley the other day after I came back from the bathroom.  Allie thought Hadley might be bored, so she set up books for Hadley to look at for a while.  Such love indeed!

Somebody Loves her Daddy-o!

Mike got Hadley to give her first smiles to him last night as we were getting her ready for bed.  It was such a cute moment between a dad and his little girl.
